Meet our Community Outreach Lead
Our Community Outreach Lead, Patty Carrion-Moras, has been a professional English-Spanish interpreter for seven years, working on behalf of various public and private agencies, including Latino Bar Association of Washington, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, Edmonds Community District, and various other schools and hospitals. Through this work, she has cultivated relationships with numerous community and advocacy organizations that support community outreach and mobilization efforts. Patty has a deep desire to build bridges of appreciation and understanding between cultures and help people communicate effectively.
Born in Mexico and a resident of the Northwest for the last decade, Patty Carrion Moras has a deep desire to build bridges of appreciation and understanding between the American and Latino cultures. As a professional English-Spanish interpreter, Patty has worked on behalf of various public and private agencies, including schools and hospitals. She is also versed in video and audio production and is passionate about helping people communicate effectively.
Patty’s clients include King County, the Arboretum Foundation, The Latino Bar Association of WA, Latino Community Fund of WA, Foster Promise, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, and the Edmonds School District.
She carries out her mission through her work in the community including, The Latino Community Fund, Progreso: Latino Progress, Mujeres of the Northwest, and with her company, blog and social media influence.
